Uncle Monkey Wellington's foremost wedding band |
![]() Carl, Sam & Steve | |||
|
Uncle Monkey have performed at more weddings than any other band currently on the circuit. Their reputation is so good that they perform almost exclusively on a referral-only basis. The 3-piece can fill a dance floor with ease, delivering a vast repertoire of over 200 songs that can cater to all ages and occasions. Happy to travel nationwide to help make your special day, the band can start during the afternoon* performing a superb 1-hour acoustic set, while guests mingle, followed by a high-energy evening show of three-50min sets. Uncle Monkey are also extremely versatile providing the option of Steve 'the crooner' Carlin doing his 'Steve Sinatra' or 'Frankie Martini' tribute shows, Sam playing his piano / keyboard or Carl performing solo-acoustic to deliver that "something special" you may be looking for. The band provides all PA equipment, lights and an iPod player for during the breaks / background dinner music and for after the show. Feel free to ask any questions, peruse our songlist (below), request your preferred first-dance song and contact us for a booking.

* This has the added benefit of providing you with the PA equipment for speeches and background-music for dinner.

Testimonials
"Hi Carl, Steve & Sam - WOW, honestly, 1 short post on Facebook doesn't even do it justice. You guys were truly AWESOME. We loved that we could belt out all the lyrics to pretty much every song you guys played. PERFECT mix for us and for our guests of young and old. Do you want to come to the US for our American celebration!? Ha ha, not sure either of our bank accounts could foot that bill - if only plane tickets were free! :) Hope everyone made it home safely and thank you thank you thank you again. We don't know each other from a bar of soap so it really meant a lot that you went through all that effort to make it all the way up North. Steve - thanks again for singing our adapted song - legend. Cheers!"
"Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did at our wedding last Saturday. The music was absolutely great and loved by all - as you could probably tell by the packed dance floor! Just what we were looking for. We had an absolutely fabulous day. And the weather was perfect - if a tad hot for the boys in their morning suits! It was our dream day and we loved every minute of it. Thank you also for the loan of your PA system. Thank you once again for everything."
"Hi guys! Just wanted to say a massive thank you for last night you guys were amazing and because of you everyone had a great time. You will be recommended to everyone, thanks again and I hope you get home safe."
