Holden Report - Issue #1
- The 'Uncle Monkey' mobile is currently running fine. (It just got a warrant!)
- It recently made it on 2 trips up the north island to Ohakune
and to Hastings. It did need a little oil on the second trip back though!
- The new fibreglass back door seems to be working fairly well and is freshly
painted, telling us that the rest of the Holden needs another spruce up.

- We may have to load the back door up with some bricks because it keeps
springing up while we load gear in and out of it!
- It has been guzzling gas lately and still costs us about $50 to do a circuit
of Courtenay Pl. every Friday night.
- The drinks trolley was out in style on a recent 'HoldenAir' flight up the
north island where captain and crew both received minor injuries on landing.
- The in-flight sound system packed up (again!).
- The Holden has recently been tagged with some lipstick and the band members
have been keeping an eye out for the culprit.
